للمرة الأولى ... إدراج مستشفيات جامعة أسيوط ضمن تصنيف سيماجو العالمي

أعلنت مستشفيات جامعة أسيوط برئاسة الدكتور أحمد المنشاوي رئيس الجامعة، والدكتور علاء عطية عميد كلية الطب ورئيس مجلس إدارة المستشفيات الجامعية، والدكتور إيهاب فوزي المدير التنفيذي للمستشفيات الجامعية، إدراج مستشفيات جامعة أسيوط ضمن تصنيف سيماجو العالمي ضمن مؤسسات الـ (Q3)، أي الأعلى بنسبة ٧٥% في التصنيف.
ويشير هذا التصنيف إلى إلتزام مستشفيات جامعة أسيوط بتقديم أفضل رعاية صحية ممكنة لمرضاها، كما يُؤكد على ريادتها في مجال البحث العلمي والابتكار.
ويعد تصنيف سيماجو العالمي من أهم التصنيفات العالمية، ويعتمد على ثلاثة معايير رئيسية هم، الأداء البحثي (50%)، ومخرجات الابتكار (30%)، والتأثير المجتمعي (20%)، ويندرج تحت هذه المعايير الثلاث 20 مؤشرًا فرعيًا لتقييم الأداء.
جدير بالذكر، أن تصنيف سيماجو للمؤسسات SCImago Institutions Rankings، هو تصنيف بدأ نشره منذ عام 2009 لمؤسسات البحث العالمية، وهي منظمة بحثية مقرها إسبانيا تتكون من أعضاء من المجلس الأعلى للبحوث العلمية، جامعة غرناطة، جامعة كارلوس الثالث بمدريد، جامعة القلعة، جامعة إكستريمادورا والمؤسسات التعليمية الأخرى في إسبانيا.
Assiut University Hospitals Make History by Entering Scimago World Rankings!
For the first time ever, Assiut University Hospitals have been included in the prestigious Scimago Institutions Rankings, a remarkable achievement that reflects their leadership in providing outstanding healthcare services.
The hospitals have been awarded a (Q3) ranking, placing them among the top 75% of institutions evaluated worldwide.
The Scimago Rankings, considered one of the most important global rankings, are based on three main criteria, Research Performance (50%): This criterion assesses the quality and scope of research published by the hospital, including the number of research papers, the number of citations, and the quality of the journals in which they are published.
Innovation Outputs (30%): This criterion focuses on the hospital's ability to translate research findings into new products and services that benefit patients and the community.
Societal Impact (20%), This criterion evaluates the extent to which the hospital contributes to improving community health, by providing healthcare services to those in need, participating in health awareness programs, and supporting research into endemic diseases in the region.
This achievement is a strong testament to Assiut University Hospitals' commitment to providing the best possible care to their patients, and further confirms their leadership in the field of scientific research and innovation.
